I really like the fresh perpective you did on the issue. Really was not expecting that when I started off studying. Each monster box could be minimized(and maximized) so that only the info at the top and a list of powers (just the name part at the top of each) is shown until you click on the power to see its description.

This would save a lot of screen space.
